The LG45 Rapide was Lagonda's high-performance Le Mans–derived variant, powered by a tuned 4.5-litre six-cylinder producing around 206 bhp. With only roughly 25 built, it was essentially a road-going racing car, capable of over 110 mph — extraordinary for the mid-1930s.
