About this car
The 1973–74 GTO marked a sharp departure from the muscle era, demoted to a Colonnade A-body coupe body and strangled by emissions regulations. The 400 V8 produced just 200 hp net, and poor sales — only ~7,000 in 1974 — killed the nameplate that year.
