1966 · 🇩🇪 Germany · 85 hp
The BMW 1602 was the entry-level E10 New Class compact, powered by a 1.6-litre single-carburettor inline-four producing 85 hp. Lighter and more affordable than the 2002, it shared the same two-door bodyshell and helped establish BMW's reputation for driver-focused compact cars through the late 1960s and 1970s.
