About this car
The Type 1 Beetle Cabriolet, built by Karmann in Osnabrück from 1949 to 1979, offered open-air motoring on the air-cooled flat-four platform. By the early 1970s it used a 1300–1600cc engine producing around 34–50 hp, and remains a popular affordable classic today.
