The Abarth 124 Spider is a high-performance variant of the Fiat 124 Spider, sharing its platform with the Mazda MX-5. Powered by a turbocharged 1.4-litre MultiAir engine producing 170 hp, it features Bilstein dampers, a Torsen limited-slip differential, and Abarth-tuned exhaust for a sportier character than the standard Fiat. Manufactured in Japan by Mazda, it carries Italian Abarth scorpion branding and was available with a manual or automatic gearbox. It was discontinued in 2019 after modest sales, making surviving examples relatively rare.
