The Alpina B3 based on the BMW E46 3 Series was produced from 2000 to 2006, offering a refined and potent alternative to the BMW M3. Powered by a supercharged 3.3-litre inline-six producing around 330 hp, the B3 S combined effortless grand-touring capability with genuine performance credentials. Alpina hand-built these cars in Buchloe, Germany, fitting their signature multi-spoke wheels, subtle body styling, and bespoke interior trim. Unlike the M3's focused sports-car character, the B3 prioritised smooth, linear power delivery and long-distance comfort — a gentleman's express with true sleeper appeal. Each car carries an individual chassis plate, and Alpina is recognised as an independent manufacturer by the German government.
