About this car
The E23 was BMW's first 7 Series, introduced in 1977 as a flagship executive saloon competing directly with Mercedes W116. Powered by inline-six and V8 engines up to 3.5 litres, it established BMW's reputation in the full-size luxury segment and underpinned the later M7 concept.
