The BMW M5 F90 is the sixth generation of BMW's legendary high-performance sedan, launched in 2017. It marks a historic milestone as the first M5 to feature all-wheel drive (M xDrive), while retaining the option of rear-wheel drive mode for driving purists. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre S63 V8 engine producing 600 hp (or 625 hp in Competition trim), it sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The F90 combines extraordinary everyday usability with supercar-rivalling performance, featuring adaptive M suspension, active rear steering, and a sophisticated 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. The 2021 model year received subtle updates including revised iDrive software and additional colour options. It is widely regarded as one of the most complete performance saloons ever built.
