About this car
The Caterham Seven Series 3 is the third-generation bodyshell evolution of Colin Chapman's original Lotus Seven concept, built in Caterham's own aluminium-panelled spaceframe. Around 2005 most were fitted with 1.6–2.0 Rover K-Series or Ford Sigma engines, keeping weight under 500 kg for blistering power-to-weight performance.
