The first-generation C/K C10 Fleetside introduced Chevrolet's new ladder-frame truck line in 1960, replacing the Task Force series. The Fleetside body featured flush bed sides versus the rival Stepside, and offered inline-six or small-block V8 power in a clean, practical half-ton package.
