About this car
The C3 Corvette Stingray debuted in 1968 with Mako Shark II-inspired bodywork and ran through 1982. Early 1968–1972 cars offered big-block V8s up to 454 cu in; post-1971 emissions detuning dropped outputs significantly. The 1972 model year was the last to use gross horsepower ratings.
