The second-generation Trans Sport, sold from 1997, adopted a more conventional boxy minivan shape replacing the original's polarising pontoon nose. Powered by a 3.4-litre V6, it shared its U-van platform with the Pontiac Montana and Oldsmobile Silhouette, offering front-wheel drive and seating for seven.
