The Dino 246 GT was Ferrari's mid-engined 2.4-litre V6 coupe, marketed as a separate Dino brand to keep entry pricing lower. Penned by Pininfarina with a steel body replacing the 206's aluminium, it became the first mid-engined car Ferrari produced in meaningful volume.
