The second-generation Panda (169 series), designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, launched in 2003 as a practical city car replacing the original boxy icon. Available with 1.1–1.4 petrol and 1.3 MultiJet diesel engines, it offered an optional 4x4 variant and was built at Tychy, Poland.
