About this car
Ford's successor to the Model T, the 1927–1931 Model A introduced a 40 hp inline-four, mechanical brakes on all four wheels, and a conventional three-speed sliding-gear gearbox. Nearly 5 million were built across numerous body styles, making it one of the most prolific pre-war American automobiles.
