The first-generation Mustang fastback (2+2) debuted in 1965 with a sweeping roofline and optional 271hp Hi-Po K-code 289 V8. The 1967 facelift added a wider body to fit big-block engines. Immortalised by Steve McQueen's Highland Green 390 GT in Bullitt (1968).
