The TC2 Taunus was Ford Germany's second-generation Taunus compact, sold from 1976 to 1979 alongside the Cortina in Britain. Sharing the Pinto/Kent engines and a boxy European styling update, it was a typical mid-70s family saloon competing against the Opel Ascona and VW Passat.
