The Gurgel X-12 Renegade was a Brazilian-built fiberglass-bodied 4x4 utility vehicle powered by an air-cooled Volkswagen Beetle engine. Manufactured by João do Amaral Gurgel's company, it was one of the few genuinely Brazilian-designed automobiles, built for off-road and rural use.
