About this car
An almost unknown French mid-engined supercar from designer Gérard Welter, the Hofstetter Turbo used a turbocharged Volkswagen-derived engine producing around 200 hp in a handbuilt fibreglass body. Fewer than ten were made, making it one of France's rarest and most obscure supercars.
