About this car
The original Jaguar S-Type (not the 1999 reboot) was a refined evolution of the Mk2 saloon, adding independent rear suspension and a longer boot. Offered with 3.4 or 3.8-litre XK straight-six engines, it bridged the sporty Mk2 and the larger Jaguar 420.
