Soviet-era rear-wheel-drive saloon built at AvtoVAZ in Togliatti, the 2105 was a facelifted evolution of the FIAT 124-based VAZ family. Offered with 1.2–1.6 litre engines producing up to 80 hp, it became the standard family car across the USSR and Eastern Bloc throughout the 1980s.
