The Lada 2107, produced from 1982 at AvtoVAZ's Togliatti plant, was the top-of-the-range rear-wheel-drive Soviet saloon based on a Fiat 124 derivative. Its 1.5-litre pushrod engine produced around 64 hp, and it served as everyday transport across the USSR and Eastern Bloc for decades.
