The original LP400 was the purest Countach, featuring Bertone's radical scissor-door wedge body with no spoilers or add-ons. Powered by a 3.9-litre longitudinally-mounted V12 producing 375 hp, only 158 were built, making it the rarest and most desirable Countach generation.
