The GF-generation Mazda 626, launched in 1997, was the fifth and final 626 iteration before the Atenza/6 replaced it. A front-wheel-drive family sedan offered with 1.8, 2.0, and 2.5-litre engines, it was a competent but unremarkable rival to the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry.
