About this car
The McLaren-Elva M1A was Bruce McLaren's first production sports-racer, a low-slung fibreglass-bodied Can-Am-era customer race car powered by a mid-mounted Oldsmobile or Ford V8. Only around 24 were built in 1964–65, each raced in North American endurance and club events.
