About this car
Built to homologate Mercedes for touring car racing, the W201 2.3-16 featured a Cosworth-developed 16-valve head on the M102 block producing 185 hp. It launched at the 1984 Nürburgring race and formed the basis for the iconic DTM-competing Evolution models.
