About this car
The MG M-Type Midget was the car that launched MG as a marque in its own right, built on the Morris Minor chassis with an 847cc overhead-camshaft engine. Its lightweight two-seat body and competition success at Brooklands and Le Mans established the affordable British sports car tradition.
