The R33 Skyline GT-R launched in 1995 with the same RB26DETT twin-turbo 2.6-litre six and ATTESA E-TS AWD as its R32 predecessor, but with a longer wheelbase for improved stability. It famously lapped the Nürburgring in 7:59 in 1996, the first production car under 8 minutes.
