The Polonez Caro was a restyled, modernised variant of the FSO Polonez hatchback, launched in 1991 with updated front-end styling and revised interior. Powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing around 82 hp, it was aimed at stretching the ageing Polonez platform's commercial life into the post-communist market.
