About this car
The 917 K (Kurzheck/short-tail) is Porsche's iconic flat-12 Le Mans prototype, dominating 1970–71 with wins at Le Mans driven by Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood. Its 4.9-litre air-cooled engine produced up to 600 hp; only 37 chassis were built for FIA homologation.
