About this car
Launched in 2003 as Smart's only conventional sports car, the W452 Roadster paired a turbocharged 698cc three-cylinder engine with a featherweight body under 800kg. Despite its charm and agile handling, poor reliability and dealer support doomed it — production ended just three years later.
