About this car
British-American hybrid conceived by Carroll Shelby, the Sunbeam Tiger Mk1 transplanted a Ford 260 cu in V8 into the Alpine roadster body, producing 164 hp. Built at Jensen Motors, it offered genuine sports-car performance at a modest price, and only ~6,500 Mk1s were made.
