The Trabant 601 Universal is the estate/kombi version of East Germany's iconic two-stroke people's car. Powered by a 594cc two-cylinder two-stroke producing 26 hp, its Duroplast body panels resisted corrosion — but also defied recycling — making it a symbol of Cold War era ingenuity and scarcity.
