About this car
Soviet-era rear-wheel-drive compact sedan built at the Togliatti plant, derived from the Fiat 124. The 2101 launched in 1970 with a 1.2-litre engine producing 64 hp; the 2105 arrived in 1980 with a squarer, modernised body. Hugely popular across the Eastern Bloc.
